ABSTRACT:
The UPPER.ALT file contains the alternate collating sequence for Btrieve. 
This file was not shipped with Btrieve for Windows or the OS/2 developer's
kit v5.10, but the file is needed to create keys that are not case
sensitive.

                    README FOR UPPER.ALT

This README file of UPPER.EXE accompanies the file, UPPER.ALT, which was
left off of the Btrieve for Windows and Btrieve for OS/2 release diskettes
(v5.10).

UPPER.ALT is provided for use with the Btrieve Create operation.  It
contains an alternate collating sequence for sorting string, lstring and
zstring data types.  For more information, refer to the Btrieve
Programmer's Manual which shipped with version 5.10 of the development
kit.
